Our hardware development process

Our hardware development process will depend on your needs and the nature of your project. We offer a streamlined, end-to-end service with opportunities to mold your project as it grows throughout the different stages.

Discovery

We meet with your stakeholders so that we can get a better understanding of what you’re looking for. We discuss your high-level goals and product vision, as well as gather the requirements and set expectations.

Research and Development

Based on your insights, we create a custom, value-driven roadmap that includes key requirements, timeframes, workload, and tech stack, followed by the Proof of Concept (PoC), Prototype, and Pilot stages.

  • PoC

At this stage, we confirm that the fundamental concept behind the product has real-world application potential. We build PoC prototypes to show the feasibility of the product, at the lowest possible cost—using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other hardware development kits.

  • Prototype and Pilot

We build a working model of a product that shows how it will function—mechanics, design, and user experience (UX). After we finish our prototype, we move to a more advanced testing phase where we test a product with a small segment of your customers. During this phase, we make sure we fix all the unforeseen bugs.

Building Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

The next step is to validate the market viability of the product. We want to do it as quickly and cheaply as possible so we follow lean and agile methods—we define core features for your application and prioritise them for building an MVP. When your MVP is built, you can test it internally or put it on the market for real customers.

Mass Production

Once your MVP is validated, we can start developing a fully-fledged version of the product, ready to be mass-manufactured.
